For the 2024–2025 academic year, Dr. BR Ambedkar University in Delhi, India, has launched a Master of Arts (MA) program in public policy and governance. Interested students can find out more about the course by visiting the official website.

A total of 60 seats will be offered under the PG course for public policy and governance. Almost 18 classes in the Karampura campus will be handed over to use by June 30. The classes for the PG programme will be held there,” said the vice chancellor.

During a news conference, Anu Singh Lather, the Vice Chancellor of AUD, stated that 3,09,237 students applied for undergraduate courses through CUETS this year, while 89,773 expressed interest in postgraduate programs. According to Lather, Ambedkar University in Delhi has been placed seventh out of the top ten institutions in the nation. The university has allocated 85% of its seats for students from Delhi, with the remaining 15% going to students from other cities.

Lather announced: “As of right now, each program has a provision for the reserve of one place under the orphan quota. This was done during the launch of the brochure for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. For those who apply under this category, there will be no entry cost at all.
The courses offered under the Competency Enhancement Scheme will be brief, lasting six months. According to the VC, students who complete these courses will receive credits that they can apply toward a degree or diploma from any university. These credits will be added to their Academic Bank of Credit account.

The University has implemented a provision for research scholars under its MRF program, whereby the University would award merit-based scholars with an allowance equivalent to the University Grant Commission’s (UGC) Junior Research Fellowship. In addition to JRF at the university, research scholars would receive a monthly allowance of Rs 16,000 from JRF if they do not have a NET.
