Amity University Collaborates with Pukyong National University, South Korea, signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

A delegation from Pukyong National University, South Korea, led by President Professor Jang Young Soo, Provost of International Affairs Professor Kim Hyun-Woo, and Professor Fazhurrahman Khan from the Institute of Fisheries Sciences, visited the Noida Campus of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh. During this visit, an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Pukyong University, South Korea, and Amity University, with the aim of fostering research collaboration, as per the official announcement.

“Pukyong National University operates across four campuses, including Daeyeon Campus dedicated to education and research, Yongdang Campus for industry-university collaborative research, Gijang Campus housing the Institute of Fisheries Sciences, and Goseong Campus serving as the Marine Science and Technology Center. This marks our inaugural collaboration with an Indian University, and we are pleased to select Amity as our partner. Amity is globally acknowledged as a prestigious institution that not only provides high-quality education but also prioritizes human values, cultural ethos, and global development through science and technology,” stated President Prof. Jang Young-Soo.

Providing a concise overview of Pukyong National University, Prof. Kim Hyun-Woo, the Provost of International Affairs, expressed, “We aspire to establish collaboration with Amity University as both Pukyong National University and Amity resonate with common values, thoughts, beliefs, and ideologies. Our focus areas for building robust connections with Amity include the Student Exchange Program, International Dual Degree initiatives, International Summer School, International Students Support Programs, and Korean Language Programs.”
