Open WhatsApp: Launch the WhatsApp application on your smartphone. Ensure that you have the latest version installed to access the UPI payment feature.

Navigate to Chat: Select the chat of the person or group to whom you want to make the payment.

Click on Attachment Icon: Tap on the attachment icon (paperclip icon) located next to the text input field in the chat window.

Select Payment Option: From the options that appear, choose the "Payment" option. This will direct you to the payment screen.

Enter Payment Amount: Enter the amount you wish to send to the recipient. You can also add a note if needed to specify the purpose of the payment.

Select Payment Method: Choose the UPI payment method from the available options.

Verify Payment Details: Double-check the payment details, including the recipient's name and UPI ID, as well as the payment amount.

Enter UPI PIN: To authenticate the transaction, you will be prompted to enter your UPI PIN. This PIN is set up when you link your bank account to a UPI payment app.

Complete Transaction: Once you enter the correct UPI PIN, the transaction will be processed, and you will receive a confirmation message indicating that the payment was successful.

Confirmation: Both you and the recipient will receive notifications confirming the transaction. Additionally, the payment amount will be deducted from your bank account and credited to the recipient's account.
