The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur has announced the creation of a post-graduate program for executives focused on leadership in smart manufacturing (LSM). The application for the one-year, full-time, fully residential PG LSM program is now open.
The program, created in conjunction with RWTH Aachen University in Germany, seeks to provide senior executives with the skills and knowledge required to lead in the era of Industry 4.0.

The Post Graduate Programme for Executives on Leadership in Smart Manufacturing (PGPEX-LSM) is a collaboration between IIM Sirmaur and RWTH Aachen. This program aims to develop management leaders with competence in smart manufacturing by combining IIM Sirmaur’s managerial skills and RWTH Aachen’s technological prowess. The goal of this program is to develop management leaders focused on manufacturing excellence who will pioneer and contribute to global technology developments.
The program aims to enhance expertise in the following areas for Indian manufacturing: smart manufacturing systems, sustainable production systems, digital smart production, frugal manufacturing, and industry 4.0.
