The Uttar Pradesh government cleared the Chandigarh University’s first-generation AI-integrated campus in Unnao, marking a historic moment in the province’s educational world. Yogendra Upadhyaya, Cabinet Minister Higher Education, Uttar Pradesh, handed over the authorization letter to university officials on September 19 paving way to this initiative.
It comes on the Lucknow-Kanpur highway at Parsandan village of the Hasan Ganj tehsil and covers an area of 63.53 acres, which is very vast. Professor Dr. Inder Singh Sandhu, Director, stated that this will be India’s first AI-integrated futuristic campus, with academic operations set to commence in the 2025-26 academic session. Currently, the campus will offer a wide spectrum of 45 contemporary courses in five major streams: Engineering, Business Management, Computer Science, Health and Liberal Arts.
In the business management domain, Unnao campus shall offer 14 graduate and post-graduate courses. This shall include Business Administration, Applied Finance, International Accounting, Branding and Advertising, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Data Science with a bent towards AI.
