Kerala Education Dept Focuses on Teacher Training and Easing Financial Burdern of Mid-day Meals

Minister of State for General Education V Sivankutty emphasized the significance of these programs, urging instructors to collaborate and characterizing any reluctance to take part as “cruelty” to kids.

On Sunday, the Kerala government launched a number of strategic initiatives meant to enhance education standards by giving teachers access to the best training possible and easing the financial burden of managing the midday meal program.

Minister of State for General Education V Sivankutty emphasized the significance of these programs, urging instructors to collaborate and characterizing any reluctance to take part as “cruelty” to kids. In order to improve students’ learning results, he emphasized the importance of adhering to the 220-day academic calendar that has been ordered by the Kerala High Court and the Kerala Education Rules.

Sivankutty added that the midday meal prices had been raised in response to teacher requests, guaranteeing that no teacher will be responsible for any scheme-related expenses.

Additionally, the minister gave educators much-needed financial security by assuring that concerns with wage payment for Higher Secondary teachers had been rectified through a special circular.
